Legal Question in Employment Law in Massachusetts

I am 52 and recently was terminated from my job with my insurance company job. I was terminated with no written or verbal warning. My Performance review dated 1/12/16 was excellent. I read the Age Discrimination and Employment Act of 1067 which was enacted to protect my protected age group due to the difficulty of finding another job. Do I have any rights? Should I hire a lawyer or contact the EEOC? Thanks.

Contact an attorney who will help you file a complaint with MCAD. That is the first step. They will either investigate and issue a decision or you can request a right to sue letter.

Please feel free to contact me.
