Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Massachusetts

I have hired a law firm to handle my loan modifiction In June.Since then The requests they have subitted have been denied.It is now October I am now going to miss my first payment.I wanted to know because I hired a law firm is it ok to for me to contact my bank myself?

I see that you have nothing to lose by contacting the bank.
