Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Massachusetts

Town had incorrect spelling of first name on property and has found that deed filed with county registrar is incorrect also. To correct the spelling, Town advises that a confirmatory deed needs to be filed. Is there a sample confirmatory deed sample/form to do this?

Not really, other than the deed that needs to be corrected. The best way to do this would actually be to contact the attorney who drafted the deed and request that he correct his mistake. Because the property is still a large investment, you don't want to try to do the deed yourself and correct the name at the risk of making a mistake on something more consequential.
