Re: Inform Wills

I do not knoww of a lawyer who is fluent in ASL, although I know some basic signs. I suggest that you contact the MA Commission for Deaf and Hard of Hearing. If they cannot connect you with an attorney, they can arrange for an interpreter for you.

The law guru site will not let me list the phone numbers in this answer. The Commission is available through voice and TTY and online. Their website is at www.mass.gov/mcdhh

Please let me know if I can help you in any way. Good luck -

Re: Inform Wills

I do not know of an attorney fluent in sign language, but I am familiar with a few basis signs.

You might try calling the Massachusetts Bar Association and using their Lawyer Referral Service. They will try to find you an attorney who is has indicated they are fluent in American Sign Language.

If you have an interpreter, or know someone who is willing to interpret for you, I would be happy to help you both put together an estate plan.
