I am trying to become a personal representative on my fathers house that has no will do i have to file a bond. the house is in a reverse mortage and does that matter

If you are his sole heir and he had no Will, then file a Petition for Administration with the Probate Court and ask to be appointed as Administrator of his estate. If you are not his sole heir you have to give notice to your siblings or your siblings children or they can assent to your being appointed as Personal Representative.

You have three options with a reverse mortgage, you can elect to sell the home, give the lender a deed in lieu or you can arranget to pay-off the reverse mortgage.
