Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Michigan

In michigan, if a default judgement was wrongfully entered for failure to appear how can I get it vacated or set aside. The lawyer is saying I didn't respond within the required 21 days but I did and have a copy of the answer and process service.

File motion to set aside for good cause due to your answer being filed. You may want to call the court and see if they have a record of the answer being filed and the court might take action on its own if it made a mistake.
