civil lawsuit on non exempt wages

In a civil lawsuit with a garnishment, what is considered non-exempt wages. I am told they are going to sue for all my non exempt wages. I only live on social security and a very small pension a month. Can they take these from me?

I am curious as to who told you that. If that was a threat they did not or do not live up to, it is a violation of the FDCPA and you may be able to recover money damages.
