Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Michigan

Personal Property sold by some one else

My Aunts Personal property was left at my home for over year and a half and she did not pick it when I told her to and I waited for two more months and she never showed up and I sold it. I am wrong for selling it?

Yes: it was her stuff.

Strongly suggest mediating this one, and seeing how you two can make amends.

Legal rights when family are involved make things less court-effective and more mediation-effective.

If you gave her a fair chance to pick it up, and she did not, and presuming she was physically and mentally able to pick it up, but chose not to, then the property is considered abandoned. Sounds like you waited long enough.
