Legal Question in Criminal Law in Michigan

My 17yr old Son was in a vehicle with 8 kids, 6 hit mailboxes with a bat. Total of kids in car were 8, someone got plate number and police called all 8 kids. My son did'nt hit any boxes,, 6 of the kids were interviewed so far and all have stated during interview that my son and driver were only ones who did not hit any boxes. Officer called house left voice mail,, son called back and left a voice mail,,, no conversation or interview has yet taken place. My son has no previous trouble.. All the kids were on the High school football team. Will he get in trouble ? Should he voluntarily talk to the officer ?

Your son should have an attorney BEFORE speaking to the police. Read more at

No way should he speak to anyone except his own hires counsel. This is very serious stuff and any interview will result in bad things without counsel.
