Legal Question in Family Law in Michigan

I was in a car accident 6/13 and subsequently am not able work the general labor job I had before as I still can't preform heavy lifting and don't have full rotation of 1 arm; So for the most part I'm temporarily out of work.

I have not been financially able to make my child support payment since Jan 2014 and the mother of the child has filed a show cause for support. My Jan payment was only a partial payment because it was all that I had.

What can I expect at this hearing? Any suggestions?

Also can anyone refer a good Wayne co family law attorney? I don't feel comfortable going at this alone, the mother has been found in contempt many times before and in all the child's life she has never wanted peace between us.

Please advise...

Thank you

You should be receiving wage loss at 85% from the auto case. Have you applied for no fault benefits? You need a lawyer for that, absolutely. Contact me to discuss.
