Legal Question in Family Law in Michigan

My daughter's father hadnot seen her for a year and a half. When she was 3 he wanted to start seeing her again. We went to mediation and I said I will only allow supervised visits. He must complete drug testingand parenting classes. He agreed to this. (He has history of ,arijuana use, stalking me, harrassing phone calls, and domestic violence against me. All of which is reported in police reports). He never did the drug testing or parenting classes. He was seeing my daughter once a week for around 4 months. He did not show up 2 weeks in a row, so the supervision facility said they would no longer schedule with him. As far as I know he hasn't tried. This was 4 months ago. My daughter was devestated. Now he is contacting me trying to see her. I do not want this to happen, as clearly it is hurting my daughter. If he takes this to court, is there any way they would consider this a negative.relationship in her life and not make her visit him?

It does not sound like the father will win the Father of the Year award. However, nobody can do a correct analysis about this case without a lot more information. You need to meet with an experienced family law attorney in your county as soon as possible. Your daughter is worth it!
