Legal Question in Family Law in Michigan

Disbursing dad's personal property

4 boys are in need of an idea to fairly split up dad and mom's (deceased) personal property. How about sealed bids as opposed to open bidding.going back and forth until there is on bidder left? With sealed bids everyone has a chance to bid the maximum they would pay for the item. The winning bid pays 10%over the next lowest bid? All monies from the sale will be split 4 ways when it comes time to disburse the estate monies.

Re: Disbursing dad's personal property

Bidding and auction systems while not common have been used to determine who shall get personal property of an estate.
