Did he not tell you where the will was? If not, it's going to be hard to find it. You can check with the probate court in your county to see if there is a will registered there. Other than that, it's going to be trial-and-error. Did he have a lawyer and if so do you know who it was that would have drafted a will for him? Any idea at all where he would have kept it like a bank lock box or home safe? Start asking questions among friends and family members to see if they might know where he would have kept it.
