Legal Question in Family Law in Michigan

I live in Michigan, I signed over rights to my daughter 7 years ago. I still pay child support which I am happy to do. She currently has her mothers maiden name. My ex wants to change it to her now husbands name. Does she need my consent? If her name is changed does he have to adopt her or can they change it and he doesn't adopt her?

A name change is a different legal procedure than an adoption. It is doubtful that you signed over rights to your daughter. However, you might have chosen to not have custody or parenting time.
