Legal Question in Family Law in Michigan

I reside in MI and share joint legal and physical custody of 2 minor children. Is one parent able to authorize an individual to make medical decisions for the children without the other parent's consent?

Michigan law has no provision under the circumstances you described, for a parent to abrogate their decision making authority for the children. You can read more at:
