Legal Question in Family Law in Michigan

I signed a letter saying that I would pay my soon to be ex- wife's car note. There is no date of how long I have to pay it. Can she hold me liable for the full balance of the car until it is full paid off? My name is not on the lease agreement.

It's not possible to answer a question about the letter without reading the letter. Sometimes these agreements are binding and other times they aren't. There are many factors that would determine whether you've made a promise that can be enforced. Your family law attorney is a good place to begin the review.
