Legal Question in Family Law in Michigan

My wife has been spending a lot of time with her ex husband in more than just a friendly way. She says she wants us to seperate for awhile. While I feel that we should just move toward a divorce. My question is that we have a 5 (soon to be 6) year old daughter. I was wondering if there is any thing like a protective order that I can get to keep my wife from having our daughter around her ex until after our divorce is final. I work on Saturdays and my wife has been going out boating with her ex husband and our daughter all day into the evenings. I don't feel that it is right for our daughter to be around the man who is helping to break up her parents.

Most judges will grant an order preventing overnight sleepovers with unrelated persons of the opposite sex. It is sometimes mores difficult when the estranged spouse is simply visiting someone else without more, such as the person is a danger, etc. However, you can try on the basis that it contradicts your morals and mixes up kids when a spouse is openly dating while still married.
