Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Michigan

I am a MI Landlord and sent 7-day payment demand, then filed complaint with the court after that period of time. We went to court for the 1st month rent due and tenant now has 10 days to make payment or vacate. Do I send them another 7-day demand notice for the Dec 1st - 2nd mth rent due? So far the tenant does not have the money to pay the full balance but if he does, I'm concerned about being behind with the 2nd mth and want to make sure to file the correct papers. Or do I have to wait until this first issue is cleared up?

You shouldn't have to send another notice. The order from the court is sufficient enough as long as it was provided to him or her. You have followed the correct procedure and upon that 10 day expiration can obtain the judgment for eviction and move their things out if they have not yet paid. Best of luck.
