Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Michigan

My husband I put in an offer on a home and we accepted the counter offer. After doing some research on who owns the property currently, we found out that it is the selling realtor who owns it under his business name, and that was never disclosed to us. What should I do? What are the penalties to that real estate agent for failing to disclose that? We feel cheated.

How does that impact the sale? You purchased it based on price and condition, not who the seller was. Maybe it is some kind of licensing issue, but I don't think it creates a lawsuit on its own.
