Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Minnesota

i have a non earnings garnishment that was filed against me from a balance of a 2nd mortgage on a rental property. the debt collector has been able to go into my bank account and take all the checking savings money. i am wondering what i can do to get rid of this and/or how long the garnishments are valid for? i am in MN. Thanks
