Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Minnesota

I owe money to a small business directly. I have yet to make a payment this month, and today the owner of the company came into my place of employment screaming that I hadn't made a payment in two months. He's claiming that I owe an additional $100 that we did not agree upon. He also called me a bitch and said I needed to prove that I paid him in the first place or he is taking me to small claims court. He came in multiple times to yell at me, although all I said to him was I couldn't discuss this matter while I was working. At one point he brought another man in with him. I feel threatened and am wondering what (if any) legal rights I have in this situation?

There are several issues raised by your question which may give rise to an action in law which you could bring against him.If the debt is to a corporation or LLC, and he was acting as a 3rd Party Collector, there would be additional MN and Federal law violations presented.
