Legal Question in Criminal Law in Minnesota

I have been contacted about my talking to a minor who is 15 in a sexual manner. I am 22 years old. I did not ever meet her, ask for dirty pics, or talk about doing things together. I did however ask sexual questions and make sexual comments. I live in MN. Did I violate any state statute by doing this? I was also under the influence of alcohol at the time. Can I get in any criminal trouble at all for this?

You should privately confer with an attorney with no delay and you should not post details of the matter on a public website. Full details would need to be known in order to advise you appropriately as to potential issues for you. You may contact me as to forming arrangements for attorney assistance for you at this time. If you "have been contacted" about such an allegation, then you should seek consultation and representation from a criminal defense lawyer soon. It is less important to attempt to predict the future based on little information, than it is to protect yourself from danger.
