Legal Question in Family Law in Minnesota

I currently have 50/50 custody with my ex. It is just not working. Every issue has come up from him not including me on choices he makes for our daughter all the way to her being assaulted by a little boy while he had her. I am so lost on what to do. I have her in counseling for all of this, but do I have any legal rights? Thank you

Of course you have 'legal rights'. I urge you to confer privately with a well experienced, seasoned family law attorney at this time. You may prefer an attorney who is your same sex, and you may feel more comfortable with an attorney who is also a parent. The situation sounds very upsetting and distressing.

Much more would have to be known about the situation and whether it is ripe for a Motion to change custody, or, in the alternative, to modify the parenting schedule. You must consult with an attorney. We offer free initial consultations. Please call us at 612-240-8005
