Adoption

My husband wd like to adopt my 12 yr old daughter from a previous marriage. Do I need the bio father's permission for this?

Yes, in general, the biological father's permission is required for the adoption, assuming his parental rights have not been terminated. Step-parent adoptions are relatively simple, and with proper consent and attention to detail, are not ordinarily difficult.
