Legal Question in Family Law in Minnesota

My kids' father and I went to mediation and worked out a custody schedule as ordered by a judge. On a weekend that falls on his weekend with the kids, he said he is going camping with them which I am not comfortable with at all and have told him so and that I didn't want them going with them. He refused what I said basically saying well too bad. What would happen if I kept the kids home that weekend because of the safety concerns I have with my children going with him?

You express concerns about the children's safety, so I suggest you confer privately at this time with an experienced family law attorney so she may discuss the full facts and issues with you. Further information needs to be known in order to provide you with sensible legal counsel tailored to the facts.
