Legal Question in Family Law in Minnesota

Marital assets

My husband bought a second home to remodel and re-sell. He never discussed this with me -- if he had I would hever have agreed to it -- and now I am having to cut back on normal maintenance and spending for our first home. What must I do to prevent this kind of thing from happening in the future? (He also has most of our marital assets in an investment account that I do not have access to.)

I am afraid that is not something that you can control when you are married. There is no law that would protect you and no process that would intervene.
