Legal Question in Family Law in Minnesota

I have placement of my daughter.her mother drags her around and stays with strangers and parties (alcohol and drugs) while my daughter is present. Hangs out with felons. Do I have any legal grounds for supervised visitation, not feeling my child is safe. Where do I start?

You should phone 911 in the event your child is unsafe. You may request a safety and welfare check. You may phone child protective services 24-7. You should confer privately with an attorney at this time. It is unlikely a matter where child protection will take action without some documentation of endangerment. Instead, it is likely that you will have to file a Motion seeking to modify custody and parenting time. You should retain counsel for that purpose. We can certainly assist you. For a consultation call 612-240-8005.
