Legal Question in Family Law in Minnesota

I just received my copy of child support documents that were sent out to both the father of my child and I. I noticed that social security numbers of both parties are given, along with other person data on supporting affidavits. My question is, isn't that a breach of privacy of both parties? We were never married and now I feel like my information was just handed over to someone who now has access to it. On top of that, they will be sending the papers to a "last known address" on his part? I just want to know if this is standard practice, to just basically hand over someone's identity?

The Social Security numbers are always included. They are supposed to be part of a confidential information form that is not part of the public record.
