Legal Question in Family Law in Minnesota

I was severed paper work on Monday the 7th of July with a notice of Motion and Motion and a affidavit. The court date is for the 21st of July.

Do I need to respond to this and if so with what forms and by when?

You most certainly need to respond. if you do not, the matter is considered uncontested. Any Motions or affidavits raising new issues must be served and filed no less then 10 days before the hearing. Any purely responsive affidavits, memorandums or evidence must be submitted no less than 5 days before the hearing.

You should retain legal counsel. For a consultation call 612-240-8005.
