Legal Question in Employment Law in Minnesota

I work for the state of mn and I have been out on medical leave, I put in my resignation that I was quitting for medical reason and I got an email that says they will not accept my resignation due to be under an investigation for employee misconduct. Is it legal to not accept that I quit my job and did not know that I was under this investigation?

Are you a Union Employee? If not, are you covered by a written Employment Agreement?

If you are not an At WIll employee, they may not permit you to terminate without notice.

I would need to review any related employment documents and interview you regarding your complete situation to advise.

Call or email for further assistance.

It sounds like you may have serious issues to deal with.
