Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Minnesota

So when I was about 11 (I'm 21 now) we lost our home due to my moms friend refusing to sign over the house to her (they made a deal he'd buy it with her money since she didn't have great credit, then sign it over to her) well long story short, he lost it in foreclosure. The next year we got hooked up with the Rebuilding Together Program who was partnering with Edina Reality (i think it was Edina Reality or the We Buy Ugly Houses people) and they raised like $250,000 in our name to rebuild the whole inside of that house for us and make it totally wheelchair accessible (I have MD) . We went and did a photo shoot outside the house and everything! They started gutting the place and then all of a sudden we're told they went bankrupt or something and all of a sudden they tear down the house and then we never hear from them and then there's this pretty new 3 unit home built there! Is it too late to do anything? And if not what should we do?

The issues you describe are complex. The person facing the issues, presumably your parent, may seek attorney review and if she chooses to do so she ought not delay as nearly all matters in law face rigid time deadlines for action.
