Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Minnesota

I divorced my husband and he had put up a workshop on my property and was awarded 15,000.00 and there was a lien put on my property and the due date to pay him was the 4th of this month and there is no way I can come up with this money. He now is taking me back to court and I am worried he is going to get my land that I had before I even was with him. My question is can he take my land or will the lien on the property just stay there if I ever sell my property?

The attorney assisting you with this will want to review the divorce decree for one. One question is whose name is on the title to the property. I urge you to let your chosen attorney assist you with this. In my professional experience over many years I encounter the sort of issue you described with regularity.
