Legal Question in Traffic Law in Minnesota

I had a commercial vehicle inspector stop me for a random check. There where many issues with the trailer I was pulling that I had no control over. I got a citation and the officer informed me that it was the companies job to take care of it but if they do not it will most likely fall on me. This company is known for screwing over people. Is there anything I can legally do to make sure they take the responsibility.

Hello. Your post actually raises questions that need to be asked and answered so I urge you to go to the MN DOT (Minnesota Department of Transportation) website, view the relevant materials including regulations there and then seek private attorney advice right away. Upon conferring with an attorney, the attorney will want to see whatever written agreements you have as well as the citation. Some attorneys, myself included, are available seven days for emergency legal needs. Some attorneys, myself included, will confer for free, at no charge: Then, if legal work is performed, some attorneys, myself included, will provide a reduced fee for need. All the best.
