misdemeanor drug charge

Marijuana seeds and paraphanalia were found in my vehicle and the officer released me, and told me to contact him in the next couple days and I am supposed to turn other people in and have them arrested. Can a warrant be issued for this charge if I fail to do what was asked of me?
