Legal Question in Criminal Law in Mississippi
I have been a victim of domestic violence. I have filed for order of protection. He is being held in Rankin County until July 4, 2014 on unrelated charges. I have discovered he has at least four domestic violence charges; therefore, i really want to make sure I push this issue as far as I can. I don't want anyone else to suffer from his disregard for human life.

He can be charged with a felony if there are previous convictions within the time frame. Work with the DA and investigating office
