Legal Question in Family Law in Mississippi

Hi i have a 8 month old daughter that i love and would do anything for my question is that my fiance was sent off for 6 months and i gave my momma a noterized letter saying that she had permission to take her to the doctor and stuff and when i asked for her back she puts up a fight i dont know what to do but i was wondering if the father had a chance of getting her and what he would have to do we just want our little girl back can anyone help me please
