Family Law

Can expunged, sealed or juvenile records be held against someone in custody hearings.

Records involving children shall be kept confidential. This prohibition is not, however, absolute. The confidentiality requirement may be overriden by a determination that disclosure would advance the child's best interests or the public safety.
