Legal Question in Family Law in Mississippi

My husband and I have been married for 9 years. I moved into his house when we married. In the event of his death what are my legal rights as to how long I can live here. He has three children from a previous marriage.

In the event of his death and the absence or a will all property would be divided by the laws of intestate succession with it being divided equally between yourself and his children. The house is the same, UNLESS you are a joint tenant with a right of suvivorship
