Legal Question in Family Law in Mississippi

Hi, my sons need help. I was divorced, with 2 sons and my xhausband passed away in April, now his parents are wanting to sell MOST of my sons possessions at are at my x's home, My x left no will, and his mother said he left her as conservitor over his estate. He was wealthy, I am not, my sons had lots of big toys at their dads home like, motocross trailer, (they both race motocross) their racing quads, a bass boat, many items we could use but I can not afford.

Can she sale all these items and "put it into an account for the boys when they reach 35"

Please help me. Thanks

A conservator's authority over a person's estate ends when the person passes away.Your sons seem to be their father's sole heirs so you might consider petitioning the court to have the estate protected by an administrator with sufficient bond in order to ensure their interest is protected.
