Legal Question in Employment Law in Mississippi

i work in Mississippi, i am a salery employee and do not get paid for staying late or when i have to come in early. i took 2 days for my father's funeral and now they are docking my pay. is this legal

Certain labor laws could prohibit your employer from not paying you for your labor. However, I know of no such law that, absent contrary a contractual provision, prohibits a failure to pay the employee when not working, even if it is to attend a funeral.
