Are tenants that have been evicted prior to thier lease agreements responsible for paying the remaining balance of the lease?

I would need to see the written lease to provide a final legal opinion, but generally, yes. Eviction is merely for possession of the property, NOT for a money judgment.Are you LL or tenant?
