aUTOMOBILE TITLES AFTER DEATH

My brother signed the titles to his vehicles before he died. Do they have to go through probate or can I sell them now? I am the executor of his estate.

Re: aUTOMOBILE TITLES AFTER DEATH

Sounds like your brother signed the title and didn't designate to whom he was conveying the property prior to his passing away. Therefore, the car is still part of his estate. Until the will is probated, you have no authority to convey anything for his estate.
