Legal Question in Disability Law in Missouri

wrong medical diagnois. IN 1995 I WAS DIAGNOIS WITH A POROTINE C DEFICIENCY. THAT IS A BLOOD CLOTTING DISORDER. I WAS TOLD IN JUNE 2010 THAT I DID NOT. I HAVE BEEN ON COUMADIN SINCE 1995. I WAS TOLD THAT THEY CAN NOT TAKE ME OFF, BECAUSE I HAVE BEEN ON COUMADIN TOO LONG. IS THIS A LEGAL MATTER?

The statute of limitation for medical malpractice is generally two years. Therefore, you possibly may not be able to sue for the wrong diagnosis, but possibly for the wrong treatment over past two years. It may be possible to have entire treatment as awhole, the therfore, sue for all the worng treatment since 1995. You should gather waht medical records you have at hand and get to a Med Mal attorney as soon as possible. Many offer a free or low cost initial consultation.

Good luck
