Legal Question in Business Law in Missouri

My boss owns a internet payday loan co. We are located in KCMO but he says we are based in Belize Central America, even has a P.O.Box adress there. My question I started in Aug 2011, in feb 2012, he made all 6 employees sign a contract stating we wont sue the company for any reason we will only use a mediator if the need arises, he also stated if the co is sued by a customer and the collector causes it we will be held liable for 25% of the suit. He said sign this or get fired. I signed and realized he had dated my contract as Aug 2012, all the othr employees were dated in 2011 there start date. I didnt tell him this but had him sign the front page of the contract since he was owner confirming the contract, Is the POST DATE OF THE CONTRACT A CAUSE TO VOID IT??

Under the facts you described, it does not sound like the mislabeled year would be grounds for a court to void the contract. It is called a scrivener's error, and is common.

Unless the employer is giving you more job security rights than and at will employee, the no sue proviusion iws possibly not enforceable, at least not as to Workmans' compensation, unemployment compenation, or job place discrimination.

Good luck
