Legal Question in Business Law in Missouri

Disclosing personal information

The health insurance company that supplies health insurance to our emloyees has a provision that a certain % of employees must be enrolled. Exempt employees are part-time and those who have insurance through a spouse or Social Security.

They want us to send copies of the insurance cards held by those employees who have insurance elswhere. Since an insurance card usually shows private information can we legally disclose this information?

Re: Disclosing personal information

IF you are concerned about showing the social security numbers, etc., then I would redact the information when it is copied and supply it.
