Legal Question in Business Law in Missouri

I recently bought a furnace and Heat Pump from we will call them "The Company",a H-vac installer, and I just received the invoice which stated I paid $3850 less than what I gave "The Company". This was an all cash transaction but I had "The Company" sign a paper that said I gave him the Cash. I have to turn in this paper work to receive a rebate from my utility so if I turn it in doers that mean I agree with the incorrect invoice or should I ask for a refund??

You might be able to do both. You can demand that the company wither return the extra money to you, ror provide a reciept for the entire amoutn you paid. If they do not, you should turn in a copy o h the present one for the rebate and then sue the company for refund of the extra money you paid. You might even rprot he situation to the attorney general's office and to the BBB.

Good luck
