Legal Question in Business Law in Missouri

My wife has her own LLC, fully insured face painting business.

Some times she works as a contractor for other face painting businesses.

When she does contract work for other face painting businesses they tell her she must wear a shirt with their company logo and also hand out the contractors business cards.

As I understand it, a contractor is being paid for the result or product of their work. In my wifes case, the result of the work is putting paint on peoples faces and NOT advertisting for them.

Is my wife in any way legally bound to where a t-shirt and pass out business cards for a business she is contracting for?

Thanks for your time.

The question is whether the other companies are contacting with the Lee, or hiring UT wife part time. This can often be determined by who the check is made to. That, and the agreement between the parties will determine her obligation as to uniform and marketing. If there is a misunderstanding, she should get a written agreement before painting any faces.

Good luck
