Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Missouri

I went to wal-mart to purchase a gun to protect my livestock for our farm, it was my first time purchasing a firearm and after filling out the paperwork they had to call in for approval and was told that it would be a few days or a week to get the approval and was never called back, i called to check on the status of it and was given the run around, they told me that sometimes the department that does the approval wont give them the ok for me to get the gun. I feel as though my rights to bare arms have been violated. is this something i could sue over? Note that i do not have a criminal history or ever been charged with a felony.

Larry the cable Guy has the right to bare arms. The constituion recognizes the right to bear arms. It is in relation to you and the government. Although it is very large, Walmart is not a govrnment entity. If there is a governmentl entity that is denying you to own a gun, you might be able to sue them for violating your civil rights.

Good luck.
