custody issues

if i have full custody of chilre being 16 and 15yrs old can i take them to different state without prior approval from our judge he does have scheduled j and chidren want to go will i be in trouble if i take them as long as dad know where they will be and can he do anything

Missouri has a Relocation Statute that you should comply with prior to relocating with the children. Under the statute you provide the non-custodial parent with a very specific written notice and he then has a period of time within which to file something in Court to prevent the relocation or at least to let the judge decide. If the non-custodial parent does not object to you moving with the kids, then you should still comply with the statute. Please consult with an attorney.
