Legal Question in Family Law in Missouri

My father was a photographer he had put together a binder of very old historical pictures of our hometown. Both of my parents have passed away i had the book my sister asked to borrow it we had a disagreement 12yrs ago we have no contact now but my sister donated this to our hometown library i wasnt told or asked to do this can i make the library give it back to me?

It may be possible to retrieve the book. You will !likely need to prosecute a petition to determine heirship. Intnbst action, you could seek to have the book listed in the items to be determined. That is assuming that your father owned the npbook at death, and no estate has been opened. If you owned the book, and lent it to your sister, the process may be s little simpler.
